He promised a bombshell, and Speaker Darryl Plecas certainly delivered: a 76-page report outlining some high flying expenses and other alleged shenanigans among senior staff at the Legislature.
Within 48 hours, the accused – Clerk Craig James and Sergeant-at-Arms Gary Lenz – are scheduled to respond to a Legislative committee probing their behaviour. In the meantime, B.C. taxpayers are trying to figure out how this spending could happen.
