Off the Cluff: Blair King on the NDP's claims of gas gouging

There's no getting around it: you're paying more at the pumps. But why? The NDP government says it knows who to blame. Do they?

Gas prices continue to be a hot topic around B.C. as demand, constrained supply, taxes, and onerous regulations drive up costs. Premier John Horgan has tried to stop the political bleeding on this issue by referring it off to the BC Utilities Commission to analyze everything – except provincial government taxes and policy.

Blair King is an environmental scientist who works out of Langley, and blogs at both his website, A Chemist in Langley, and on The Orca, on evidence-based environmental decision-making.
